Hi, folks, I'm more or less back in this country (except for the part of me that's on Italian time for waking and sleeping). Great trip, and pictures and post will come, but maybe not until I'm off dial-up and back to a reasonable connection at home.

Meanwhile, briefly, we saw Beowulf and Grendel yesterday and liked it very much, including the ways it was and was not faithful to the original. Good writing, good choices. And incredible scenery. More on this later, as well.

Hope all are well! Missed you.

It so very much did, in spite of heat and crowds. Food and people were wonderful, and great sights.

Welcome home, I say sheepishly (not having realized you were gone, but then, I've been away a lot myself and not keeping up with LJ)...

Well, I too tend to vanish even when I'm not physically gone, so no wonder!

Welcome back! It was lovely to have the little comments that you managed to post now and then, even while you were away, but not nearly so nice as having you back here "among" us!

:o)

Still kind of now and then-ish until I get off Bill's dial-up, though!
