There were definitely some painful things mixed in. One photograph is of a woman licking tears off a man's face. The streamers behind the red figure are from a project the artist did with a gospel choir called Tongues on Fire (http://www.lesleydill.net/tonguesOnFire.html), about people's visionary experiences--some of the things written on the banners are quotations about that (things like light and fire)--and many of the images are of words and images coming out of people's heads and backs.

She's an amazing person. She also did a kite project (http://www.lesleydill.net/kiteProject.html) (one piece from that is in this)--kites are really exciting, I think.
