I'd rather not have had the occasion to do this, but for my son's birthday, I gave a donation to Medécins sans Frontières or Doctors without Borders--I guess they're the group best able to help in Haiti right now.

And I think my son can handle not getting a new electronic toy--he's 38 today and his employer treats him a lot better than I can!

In fact, just read his Facebook to see that he'd posted this: "Theo Posselt likes this and is reposting: text the word HAITI to 90999 and a $10 donation will go to American Red Cross; you'll see it on your next cell bill."
